Writing Life Away

Holding hands.
Bridging cultures.
Connecting cultures.
Forging fashions.
Forging foods.

Soft as fuck — until you realize the soft people are the majority. Soft becomes the landscape the world operates in.

People equally allowed to exist. Not this side or that side. If it leads to holding hands, that’s absolutely ok.

What this corner is

Writing Life Away is a magazine of Keys asphalt + farther. It moves through Japan street and reverse orientalism; through fashion where the Stans, China, and Korea are welcome; through cuisine as rebellion; through dance — SOM≡LINEZ, SPC Boys Club, Elyanna, Saint Levant, Harry Styles, Lola Young, Rage… — and through photo + writing that isn’t dry newspaper gray.

This is where the texture stays on the page: heat off the road, a meal with a point of view, a body finding its rhythm, a sentence that refuses to sit politely. No brochure voice. No tidy little box. Just the work, alive.
