Florida Keys Photography – Unusually Kind. Why? Wars. Poverty. Struggle. All welcome experiences. Plus Nada is a devoted mother to a remarkable Down Syndrome daughter and three spirited girls. She often feels out of place. She’s always wanted to truly ‘belong’ to a singular place.
Her genetics are muddled. She really is bothered by it. From European and Arab threads, she felt out of place in the heartland of Surrey. Where she learned to love Earth, be one with nature. She wasn’t accepted by many. She was among aristocratic, wealthy people, established landowners. People with genes that screamed – I belong here. She felt like an impostor and an implant.
As an immigrant to the United States Of America. She felt a new start would help her adjust to being from a muddled lineage. Stepping into motherhood helped her settle. She has now forgiven her DNA. She is even seen embracing her ‘erroneous genetic code’. She feels inspired by the unique journey of her children. Her Down Syndrome daughter teaches her invaluable lessons about resilience. She also teaches her about unconditional love. This highlights the beauty that can emerge from life’s challenges.
