ABOUT ME – “Stunning blue and green is a really easy shot around here in the Florida Keys. But beyond the easy…PHOTOGRAPHY offers an outlet for my own human deep self doubt, who you don’t have any? But an abundance of genetic confidence, connects spiritual & physical roots beyond time. I get a power boost from my belief that we all have a purpose here.
The camera for me leads me back to a rich pre-Napoleonic Palestinian heritage and an Italian, German, Russian story that includes leaders and professional scholars, a Jerusalem and Jaffa’n Palestinian family of watchmakers, opticians and photographers, and a polyglot princess grandmother who rode motorbikes in rural Germany. And a convoluted connected life of multi-lingual multi-cultural engineering, of watches, optics and cameras that brings me all together in a present day bundle of creative technical skill.”

For me photography and writing and film connect me to a super deep conscience. To find an outlet I am always grateful when i’m disturbed by the way something looks. After a bomb goes off or a crash happens or a teenager gets out of bed. I LOVE how chaos bothers my sensor, irritates my soul. The detail in tiny struggles make the big picture.
A camera allows me to flex my inherited muscles. I imagine this. The heritage of wildly intelligent adventurer women, eastern and western stars and cultures. I use them mercilessly to view a scene. Photography for me is like earth, nature, it is the essence of existences violence, opposites attracting and violently crashing, fuelled by the hope that drives us, a powerful love.
